b) Why do we need shared values and leadership approach?
Our own people and our stakeholders need to know what we stand for and believe in.
This is a prerequisite to create a sense of identity with the group and develop good relations with our stakeholders. Shared values are central in enabling us to deal with frequent changes in the world around us and to meet requirements to good corporate governance. Commitment to our values and our leadership approach, in words and actions, is not negotiable.
c) Codes of Ethics in PetroYas
Our ability to create value is dependent on high ethical standards. In its business activities, PetroYas will comply with applicable laws and regulations and act in an ethical, sustainable and socially responsible manner. Respect for human rights is an integral part of PetroYas’s corporate values. The group will maintain an open dialogue on ethical issues, internally and externally. PetroYas will conduct its business in such a way that partners, suppliers and customers can have trust in the group. We also expect our suppliers and partners to have ethical guidelines in their own enterprises, which are consistent with PetroYas‘s ethical values.
